How often should roofs be checked and maintained?
If you restore your roof, you should get it checked and maintained in 10 to 15 years’ time. If you don’t restore your roof, you will need to check and maintain it within five to seven years.
What happens if concrete tiles are not painted or maintained?
Concrete tiles wear over time, and the resin surface wears off if it hasn't been restored. Without the resin coating, rainwater will penetrate and create dampness throughout the house. The water on the tile can cause a build-up of algae. The other issue is that tiles gets brittle with age and will expand and contract through the seasons and eventually crack or break.
Why should I paint my concrete tiles?
Since concrete tiles are porous, when you repaint your concrete tiles, you create a protective surface layer that ensures that water doesn't penetrate through.
Do you have a guarantee and how long does it cover?
We provide a seven-year guarantee whilst using on the Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane products and our workmanship.
